Smoking hot Salsa single from Cristian Letelier and Diego Guerrero.

Chilean Pianist Cristian Letelier joins forces with Latin Grammy nominated flamenco singer Diego Guerrero in paying homage to the New York Salsa movement with this Big Band version of “Cuando te Vea” (When I see you).

Recorded during the lockdown in Madrid with the collaboration of distinguished musicians from Colombia, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Venezuela, Chile, Mexico and Spain, Letelier’s arrangement is faithful to the Tito Puente original, yet with a distinctly flamenco twist heard in Guerrero’s husky lead vocals.

Upon listening to the song, one conjures up an image of an impeccably rehearsed Big Band recorded live at the Fania All Stars recording studios in New York, yet all this was coordinated by Letelier, remotely recording more than a dozen musicians with a common love for this classic style of Salsa.
